Tapeswitch Ltd is a British manufacturer of customised and standard switching solutions, such as ribbon switches, sensing edges and switching mats, as well as Guardscan safety light curtains. The company was formed over 20 years ago as a specialist designer and manufacturer of safety light curtains for dangerous machinery, and still manufactures these, but has also developed an impressive capability to produce custom-designed application-based switching solutions in low quantities for a wide variety of industries as well as more standard switching products such as safety mats and sensing edges.
