SX-560-2701 dual-band wireless module
Rutronik is offering Silex Technology’s SX-560-2701 dual-band wireless LAN module, which is targeted at manufacturers wanting to equip products with secure wireless functions.
The unit is programmable, operates on a current of 3.3V and transmits in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz ranges.
It meets IEEE 802.11a/b/g standards and features security functions such as WPA2 encryption and 802.1x authentification.
The module also includes a 32-bit processor, Linux-based firmware, 16MB of RAM and 8MB of flash memory.
