Teseq offers digital EMC/EMI receiver module with 18GHz frequency range for FCC testing
Teseq
PMM 9180
Teseq has introduced a digital EMC/EMI receiver module that extends the frequency range of the PMM 9010 receiver system from 6 to 18GHz, making it suitable for a wider range of EMC testing in commercial test labs and in-house manufacturers’ test facilities, according to the company.
Teseq claims that the PM 9180 offers high performance, convenience and cost savings by cutting turnaround times and eliminating the need for expensive coax cables and periodic calibration checks.
It is also claimed to provide good radiated emissions system sensitivity.
The battery-powered PMM 9180 is directly connected to an antenna located inside the testing chamber and has the ability to transmit data outside the testing chamber via fibre-optic cable, eliminating signal losses that can exceed 20dB.
