IDT introduces low-power RF-to-IF mixers suitable for cellular basestation equipment
IDT
F1150 and F1152 mixers
Integrated Device Technology has expanded its analogue wireless infrastructure range with two low-power, low-distortion RF-to-IF mixers for cellular basestation equipment.
The F1150 and F1152 devices are designed to improve system third-order intermodulation (IM3) performance and to reduce power consumption, resulting in improved quality of service and enabling the use of smaller enclosures in 4G wireless infrastructure applications.
The 1,700–2,200MHz mixers — which are suitable for multi-carrier, multi-mode cellular systems found 4G wireless basestations — reduce power consumption by more than 40 per cent compared with standard mixers.
The F1150 and the F1152 complement the company’s F1200 low-noise digitally controlled IF variable gain amplifier (VGA).
