Mobile TV Standard Antenna
Molex has released the internal Mobile TV Standard Antenna, which, compliant with China’s Multimedia Mobile Broadcasting (CMMB) standard for AV encoding, can be integrated internally into any CMMB-enabled mobile device.
According to Molex, the Mobile TV Standard Antenna overcomes a host of engineering and design challenges to offer significant cost and time-to-market benefits, while being small enough to fit into modern, aesthetically pleasing designs.
The antenna supports reception in the 470-800MHz UHF band and enables CMMB-based TV without the need for active circuitry or frequency tuning.
Fabricated using Laser Direct Structuring (LDS) technology, the Mobile TV Standard Antenna has a simple 50Ω interface and measures 50 x 5 x 6mm.
