Centum VP Release 5
Yokogawa Electric has launched Release 5 of the Centum VP integrated production control system, which is designed to help customers with the control and monitoring of plants and production equipment.
This covers industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, chemicals, electric power, pulp and paper, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, iron and steel and water supply and sewage treatment
In oil and gas fields, and other applications where facilities may be scattered over a very wide area, the unified gateway station (UGS) can establish a link with the small-scale systems at each site, as well as with Yokogawa’s Stardom network-based control system.
