Amplicon offers Wi-Fi access points for users wanting to design wide-coverage networks
Amplicon
AWK-3131 and AWK-4131 Wi-Fi access points
Amplicon is now offering the AWK-3131 and AWK-4131 industrial Wi-Fi access points from Moxa, which are targeted at users wishing to design wireless networks with wide coverage and high bandwidth.
The units support IEEE 802.11N — which incorporates MIMO technology for data rates of up to 300Mbps — and are POE (802.3AF) compatible.
In addition, they are backwards compatible with existing 802.11A/B/G wireless client devices.
They feature ‘turbo roaming’ technology, which enables faster client roaming speeds, as well as dual-redundant power inputs.
The access points can be used with either 2.4GHz or 5GHz frequency bands.
