Sena Technologies has introduced a range of USB-to-serial converters.
The Directport-USB range of products provide serial connectivity to computers via USB ports.
Directport-USB UC1 is a high-speed one-port USB-to-RS232 converter designed to provide serial COM port via USB port, while Directport-USB UC1B is a high-speed one-port USB-to-RS422/485 converter for multi-drop applications.
According to the company, Directport-USB UC1 and UC1B support serial speeds of up to 921.6Kbps and provide electrostatic-discharge protection up to +/-15KV.
Directport-USB is suitable for high-speed serial communication requirements for computers with no or limited native serial port availability.
