Legic read and write terminals
Legic read and write terminals have been used by Zucchetti Axess for an employee time and attendance system used in Airbus’s military aircraft factories in Spain, in order to upgrade it to meet the group’s security standards.
A Legic Advant-based system has been used to upgrade the employee time and attendance system used in Airbus factories in Madrid and Seville.
The upgrade needed to have multi-application capability, be able to integrate with the existing system, be flexible and have functional modularity.
A total of 120 Ethertrax G terminals with Legic readers were configured to read the Airbus segment from advanced-security Legic badges, and an XAtlas Sap connector module was used to interface the terminals with a Sap HR module.
The project was completed within a short time and more than 10,000 Airbus employees are now benefiting from the upgrade.
