Aircraft manufacturer selects Siemens software to implement cargo aviation projects

Siemens PLM Software has announced that Ukrainian State Enterprise Antonov, an aircraft-manufacturing and services organisation, has selected NX software and Teamcenter software to implement joint cargo aviation projects with JSC United Aircraft in Russia.
These projects include the production of the Antonov An-124 Ruslan heavy long-range cargo aircraft and the Antonov An-70 medium short take-off and landing cargo aircraft.
Antonov will use Siemens PLM Software’s NX digital product-development solution and Teamcenter to design and create a centralised product, engineering and design data-management system.
