Product brochure: Powermill Robot software from Delcam
Powermill Robot brochure
Programming the multi-axis control systems for robots has traditionally been a complex and laborious task. Robots can be programmed using teach-and-learn methods, but these require a lot of fine tuning to achieve the perfect path. Delcam’s Powermill Robot allows users to program robots with external axes as easily as they can program a five-axis NC machine. Accurate 3D simulation shows exactly how the robot will behave.

Delcam will demonstrate the latest software releases from its development team at a special open house to be held at the DMG-MORI showroom in Coventry on 6–7 May.
Delcam is supporting OSG Tap & Die with its series of in-depth seminars showing die and mould manufacturers how to take their machining to the next level. The tour will be visiting cities across the US from April to September.
Delcam has added a number of new options for reverse engineering to its PowerSHAPE Pro software for the design of products and tooling. The 2015 R2 release of the software also includes improvements to speed up and simplify the editing of product designs to make them more suitable for manufacture.
Delcam Professional Services is offering free Custom Software Core software to speed up and simplify the automation of repetitive operations in Delcam’s PowerSHAPE design and reverse-engineering software and PowerMILL CAM system.
Delcam will demonstrate the latest release of its PowerMILL CAM software for five-axis and high-speed machining equipment, including the new PowerMILL Robot version for the programming of machining with robots, at the Industrie exhibition in Lyon on 7–10 April. Other Delcam programs — including PowerSHAPE for design and reverse engineering, the FeatureCAM feature-based programming system and the PowerINSPECT inspection software — will also be on show.
