According to Open Mind, the software’s new five-axis cycles, along with its contour offset roughing and finishing, provide the basis for more efficient machining of complex surfaces.
Hypermill 2011 has a new 64-bit architecture that makes more memory available to users, which is especially useful when programming large parts.
Its intelligent macros feature enables users to save pre-defined rules and conditions for every stage of the machining process, which Hypermill will then use to automatically assign and adjust job steps to the corresponding geometries.
