GAO RFID has launched its 134kHz RFID Bluetooth reader, model 222012, which is compatible with most kinds of LF (134kHz) cards and used in the security, patrol, mining, finance and railway systems.

This wireless LF Bluetooth reader, model 222012, uses Bluetooth (Class Two) technology to upload tags ID to any Bluetooth-enabled computers in real-time mode.

It reads tags at a distance of 0 to 7cm with a read time of only 0.1s and its Bluetooth transmission distance is greater than 10m.

This palm-sized RFID reader communicates with a computer via USB or wireless Bluetooth interface.

It is shipped with an Excel, Word or Notepad keyboard wedge, which allows data to be automatically updated and viewed in real time on a computer or PDA.

In addition, the RFID reader is claimed to have a long battery life that allows for the continuous reading of up to 7,000 tags per charge.

It belongs to GAO's range of 134kHz low frequency RFID readers.
