Software gives bidirectional RFC 2544 capabilities
Exfo Electro-Optical Engineering
AXS-200/850 Ethernet test set
EXFO Electro-Optical Engineering has released a software suite that provides bidirectional RFC 2544 enhanced functionalities on the AXS-200/850 Ethernet Test Set.
The AXS-200/850 is a hand-held performance-assessment tool that simplifies the installation, activation and maintenance of Ethernet networks and services.
Its bidirectional RFC 2544 test capabilities provide real-time test results, both upstream and downstream.
This function allows service providers to validate that service rates are properly provisioned, ensuring scarce network resources are optimised and SLAs are met.
This allows service providers to accurately pinpoint where failures are occurring in the network.
The bidirectional RFC 2544 test is fully interoperable and compatible with EXFO's complete portfolio of datacom test modules.
