Maplesim and VI-Carrealtime
The combination of software from Adept Scientific, Maplesoft and VI-Grade will result in the integration of Maplesim models with the VI-Carrealtime framework.
Maplesim is a physical modelling and simulation tool that is based on symbolic computation technology and can deal with the complex mathematics involved in the development of engineering models such as multi-domain systems, plant modelling and control design.
VI-Carrealtime is a real-time vehicle simulation environment that enables engineers to improve vehicle designs, control system performances and perform the large design of experiments and multi-optimisation studies.
Full-vehicle models available through VI-Carrealtime allow Mapelsim users to implement their subsystem models without the need to build vehicle models for themselves.
Key information
- Adams/car vehicle chassis parameters can be transferred directly into VI-Carrealtime, which provides a way of integrating Adams/car models with system models from Maplesim.
- Maplesim enables VI-Grade users to develop detailed models of their own vehicle subsystems and use them to replace the default subsystem models in VI-Carrealtime.
