Lattice Diamond software is suitable for low-power FPGA applications
Lattice Semiconductor
Lattice Semiconductor has announced release 1.4 of its Lattice Diamond design software, the design environment for Lattice FPGA products.
The Lattice Diamond 1.4 software gives support to the MachXO2 PLD series by providing final production timing, power models and bitstreams for the range.
This includes the latest wafer-level chip scale packaged version of the LCMXO2-2000U and LCMXO2-1200U devices that are suitable for very high volume, cost- and power-sensitive applications.
According to the company, Lattice Diamond 1.4 software provides a combination of FPGA tools with enhanced usability to rapidly close the timing of design critical paths, which is important for low-power and cost-sensitive FPGA applications.
