Farnell offers updated PCB design software designed to streamline board-level design

Cadsoft Eagle 6.0
Farnell has launched version 6.0 of its Cadsoft Eagle PCB design software, which now provides a direct connection between board layout and the Eurocircuits PCB prototyping service.
Engineers can use the Cadsoft Eagle user interface to identify PCB service providers, generate customised quotations and order prototype PCBs, thus improving on an otherwise time-consuming and error-prone process.
The update, which will smooth and speed board-level design and PCB prototyping, can also be applied to existing 5.10 and 5.11 versions of the software via a user language program (ULP) download.
