C Series NI 9861 CAN interface, NI 9866 LIN interface
The C Series NI 9861 CAN interface and NI 9866 LIN interface from National Instruments can provide engineers with productivity tools such as hardware-accelerated messaging and onboard processing, and are suitable for automotive testing applications including hardware-in-the-loop simulation and test cell applications
The modules can integrate with the NI Compactdaq platform and can be used with the same NI Labview or ANSI C/C software code on platforms including NI Compactdaq, Compactrio, PXI and PCI.
The C Series NI 9861 is a single-port, low-speed CAN interface module that features CAN database support for importing, editing and using signals from FIBEX, .DBC and .NCD files. Additionally, it can bus load communication up to 125kbit/s without dropping any frames.
The single-port NI 9866 LIN module also includes support for importing and using signals from LDF databases, as well as master/slave support and hardware-timed scheduling for master tasks. It is capable of bus load communication of up to 20kbit/s without dropping frames.
