BVM Group launches rugged fanless embedded system suitable for processor-intensive tasks

BVM

Tank-700 embedded system

BVM Group has launched a rugged fanless embedded system for applications such as HD audio/video for intelligent monitoring in vehicle or fixed installations.

The Tank-700 is also suitable for processor-intensive tasks in medical and process control applications.

Based on the QM67 chipset, the system — which provides low power consumption, advanced LAN and WAN communications and high-bandwidth peripheral interfaces — supports the Sandy Bridge second-generation mobile Core i7/i5/i3 processors with integrated GPU at up to 2.8GHz or the mobile Celeron processor at 1.9GHz, both in the PPGA-988 socket.

The embedded CAN-bus capability provides communication with vehicle systems to monitor engine and vehicle parameters.
