Design Assistant 3.0 software training
Matrox Imaging is set to offer classroom training on its Design Assistant 3.0 software for Iris GT smart cameras. The sessions will take place on 6–8 May 2013 at the company’s headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
The two-and-a-half-day course is instructor led and provides in-depth training on developing applications using Design Assistant, Matrox’s integrated development environment (IDE) for the Iris GT range of smart cameras.
It is designed for systems integrators, in-house integration specialists, machine builders and OEMs who develop smart-camera-based vision or inspection systems.
Course attendees will:
- Learn how to quickly and easily configure and deploy vision applications by constructing a flow chart instead of writing traditional program code
- Learn how to set up the operator view (HMI)
- Be able to choose the best analysis and processing tools for their applications
- Discover how to interface to automation equipment such as PLCs, all within Design Assistant’s IDE
- Receive one-on-one time with Matrox developers and workshop sessions
Participants who register before 8 April will save 20 per cent on the cost of tuition
Students must register for training in advance
