The two-and-a-half-day course is instructor led and provides in-depth training on developing applications using Design Assistant, Matrox’s integrated development environment (IDE) for the Iris GT range of smart cameras.

It is designed for systems integrators, in-house integration specialists, machine builders and OEMs who develop smart-camera-based vision or inspection systems.

Course attendees will:

  • Learn how to quickly and easily configure and deploy vision applications by constructing a flow chart instead of writing traditional program code
  • Learn how to set up the operator view (HMI)
  • Be able to choose the best analysis and processing tools for their applications
  • Discover how to interface to automation equipment such as PLCs, all within Design Assistant’s IDE
  • Receive one-on-one time with Matrox developers and workshop sessions

Participants who register before 8 April will save 20 per cent on the cost of tuition
Students must register for training in advance
