‘Top quality in 13 minutes’
BOA wanted a solution for processing welding tasks faster, more cost-effectively and with high quality. It opted for a TIG welding cell with a Kuka robot for the manufacture of sheet-metal constructions. A Kuka KR 15 L6/2 robot works at two work stations in a cell. Both stations are equipped with a DKP 400 two-axis positioner in order to provide the required flexibility. This case study explains the resulting benefits.

LUZI, a producer of fragrance compositions, decided to start using a robotic cell with a KUKA KR 125 robot and an integrated automatic filling system installed.
The main requirements of the KUKA robots concerned the stack height and the necessary intelligent handling.
Ligmatech recently received an order for an automatic palletising and sorting system for door frames. The KUKA KR 180 PA robot is being used to ensure short cycle times.
A KR 6 six-axis jointed-arm robot from KUKA has met all of SBH’s requirements thanks to its integrated touch and through-the-arc sensors, among other features.
The KUKA.CNC control option enables KUKA robots to be programmed and operated directly by means of G-code.
