‘Top quality in 13 minutes’
BOA wanted a solution for processing welding tasks faster, more cost-effectively and with high quality. It opted for a TIG welding cell with a Kuka robot for the manufacture of sheet-metal constructions. A Kuka KR 15 L6/2 robot works at two work stations in a cell. Both stations are equipped with a DKP 400 two-axis positioner in order to provide the required flexibility. This case study explains the resulting benefits.
