The Carlsberg brewery in Sweden decided in favour of a six-axis jointed-arm KUKA KR 500 robot to handle its packaged beverages with speed and flexibility.
The LEGOLAND Park in Billund, Denmark, features the Robocoaster, which is based on the KUKA KR 500 heavy-duty robot. It is the first robot to be approved for carrying human passengers.
Automotive supplier Läpple produces front ends for the DaimlerChrysler Mercedes CLK. For this application, the company had a production island with 18 KUKA robots constructed.
