Gemini Tec boosts capacity with pick-and-place machinery and software from Mydata

MY100LX10 pick-and-place SMT machines
Gemini Tec, a provider of complex mixed technology PCB assembly services, has purchased two MY100LX10 pick-and-place SMT machines and rented the latest operational and productivity software from Mydata.
The pick-and-place machines can either be operated together as a Synergy line or independently if the company needs to build two concurrent jobs.
The new MY100LX10 machines, alongside the company’s existing MY12 system, will be used in conjunction with Gemini Tec’s MY500 solder jet printer, which is designed to apply solder paste to PCBs without the need for stencils.

• Total placement capacity of 21,000cph
• Designed to handle a wide range of component types
• Uses the same feeders as the Mydata MY12, which has been in use at Gemini Tec’s facility for seven years
