Sabic completes range of Valox SHF resins
Sabic Innovative Plastics
Super High Flow Valox SHF resins
Sabic Innovative Plastics has announced its portfolio of glass-filled Super High Flow Valox SHF resins that it says offers twice the flow length of standard glass-filled polybutylene terephthalate.
Super High Flow resins enable thinner-wall parts that accommodate more capabilities.
They also speed up processing and cut costs while maintaining good mechanical and heat performances.
With this comprehensive polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) product family, electrical and automotive part manufacturers have many choices when moulding thin-wall parts such as connectors and excess voltage cut-off switches.

Product brochure: Macromelt low-pressure overmoulding process from Techsil download
Techsil has launched Henkel’s Macromelt in the UK. Macromelt is a low-pressure overmoulding process using hotmelt adhesives. It is designed to provide excellent sealing, provide better protection of electrical/electronic components and achieve higher productivity compared with materials currently used in sealing processes, such as two-component casting/potting resins or silicones. With a cycle time of less than one minute and no need for a separate housing, using Macromelt also decreases ...
