Hyprez polishing consumables
Engis's Hyprez polishing consumables, including brushes, felts and bobs, are suitable for mould and die applications.
Compared to similar solutions, Hyprez brushes will hold diamond compounds longer and provide increased cutting action at lower production costs, according to the company.
The brushes are made of natural stiff bristle for a long life and are available in three shapes with long shanks for straight hand pieces and in three shapes with short shanks for contra-angle hand pieces.
Hyprez mandrel-mounted felt bobs are made of pure wool in a variety of sizes, shapes and degrees of hardness; the bobs are intended to meet any finishing requirement and the mandrels are exactly centred for true-running operation.
Standard shapes are available in medium and hard options, while cylinder shapes are available in medium, hard and rock hard.
Assortment boxes are available.
Hyprez wood bobs come in Hydulignum, a highly compressed hard wood laminated in layers with plastic.
The grain direction is perpendicular to the circumference to ensure a uniform lapping surface and efficient charging.
These bobs are recommended for fast stock removal or where exact contour or shaping is required (where the use of 15-micron or coarser Hyprez diamond compounds are recommended).
Hyprez wood bobs are also available in selected soft pine for pre-finish before final felt polishing.
Hyprez diamond compounds (measuring 15 microns or finer) are recommended for use with these bobs.
