The coder offers a combination of an intelligent print-head that optimises print quality, a more efficient ribbon that minimises waste and a series of commitments aimed at reducing maintenance and improving uptime.
Features: range of ribbon widths, 20 to 55mm, for optimised ribbon usage; Colos Create 5.0 software with automatic ribbon-saving feature; lower-cost 32mm print-head option for applications requiring narrower ribbon; 1,100m ribbon for longer running between changeovers and improved cost per print; 18-month standard warranty and print-head warranty; zero preventative-maintenance visits thanks to new robust features, including direct ribbon drive and improved cassette design with no wear parts; equipment availability rate of up to 99.6 per cent without assistance; real-time access to availability rate, ribbon status and dead-dot detection; longer 1,100m ribbon for more uptime; print speeds of up to 600mm/sec; 300dpi resolution; air consumption down to 0.4ml/per print at 2.5 bar; up to 50 per cent reduction in power consumption; up to 20 per cent less ribbon waste with new standard ribbon format.
