Rofin's Modular Processing System suitable for automated laser material processing
Rofin-Baasel
Rofin Modular Processing System (MPS)
Rofin’s Modular Processing System (MPS) is suitable for use in automated laser material processing applications including welding, cutting, drilling and structuring.
The MPS is available in a range of four different systems, which range from the basic module with one Z axis to a granite set-up that includes a cross table, linear servo driven axes and a ±1 micron repeat accuracy.
Units can be integrated with a variety of laser sources from Rofin, including femto lasers, fibre lasers, pulsed solid-state lasers and diode lasers.
The working chamber is accessible through a pneumatically operated door, provides enough room for large work-pieces and clamping units.
Key features
- Each model can be fitted with either fixed optics or galvo scanners
- Integral 17in colour MPS touch screen, including control software
- CNC/PLC controller
- Integrates laser sources, motion modules and control units within a single housing
