‘Production of precision-engineering mainsail batten cars in titanium alloy for the high-end yacht sector’
CRP Meccanica, part of CRP Group, has been working alongside Gruppo Perini Navi, a designer and manufacturer of sailing and motor yachts, as its technical partner in the production of mainsail batten cars. CRP Meccanica’s machining department uses five-axis CNC milling centres that are particularly suitable for the machining of high-tech materials such as titanium alloys, metal matrix and special steels.

CRP USA together with DC Electronics has developed an electrical enclosure using 3D printing technology and Windform laser sintering materials.
By combining Windform materials and additive manufacturing, CRP is currently focusing on generative orthotics. Using CRP’s laser sintering materials and additive technology, it is now possible to create high-performance bespoke orthoses.
