‘Production of precision-engineering mainsail batten cars in titanium alloy for the high-end yacht sector’
CRP Meccanica, part of CRP Group, has been working alongside Gruppo Perini Navi, a designer and manufacturer of sailing and motor yachts, as its technical partner in the production of mainsail batten cars. CRP Meccanica’s machining department uses five-axis CNC milling centres that are particularly suitable for the machining of high-tech materials such as titanium alloys, metal matrix and special steels.

At the Small Satellite show from 8–13 August in Logan, Utah, CRP USA will display the latest 3D-printed solutions for the space industry made in Windform, a range of polyamide-based materials reinforced with glass fibres or carbon fibres.
FLYING-CAM moved to SLS technology in collaboration with CRP Group in order to accelerate iteration generation, improve manufacturing time and facilitate production in series.
Creating a prototype is always a challenge, but CRP USA has increased the capabilities of 3D printing and additive manufacturing to make it easier with Windform materials.
Windform additive manufacturing technology from CRP Group has reportedly revolutionised the world of orthotics. The designs are waterproof, breathable, skin-contact approved, wearable and custom fit.
CRP USA has assisted DeltaWing design engineer Christian Yaeger with the design and production of the race car.
