IDS develops two-part system for metering, mixing and dispensing adhesives and sealants
Integrated Dispensing Systems
Eco-Duo450 dispensing system
Integrated Dispensing Systems (IDS) has launched a two-part system from Viscotec that is designed to accurately meter, mix and dispense a range of shear-sensitive adhesives and sealants.
Utilising the company’s Endless-Piston-Principle, the Eco-Duo450 system is claimed to ensure that the material being dispensed is accurately metered without subjecting it to any shear.
The dispense rate of the new system can be adjusted on the fly to suit a range of bead tracking speeds.
Product features
• Electronically variable suck-back action, which ensures clean cut-off of the dispensed material
• Eco-Control Duo programmable microprocessor
• Graphical interface, which can be programmed to dispense dots, beads or dosed volumes

Technical article: how ultrasonic mixing improves the production of biodiesel download
According to Hielscher, in order to withstand the challenge on the fuel market, biodiesel must be produced under optimised conditions. The use of ultrasonically generated effects increases the yield and quality of the obtained biodiesel. At the same time, methanol and catalyst input can be significantly reduced.
