In this video, Hielscher presents the further development of its ultrasonic laboratory equipment series. The company highlights the compact UP200HT ultrasonic homogeniser, which is used in professional laboratories for sample preparation, homogenising, dispersing and de-agglomeration. Other applications include emulsification, lysis and cell disruption, extraction, degassing and sono-chemistry.
The DRS3500 system from Hielscher USA is designed for the inline ultrasonic cleaning of continuous materials such as wires, cables, tapes and rods. High intense cavitational forces enable dirt and residue (including soap, lubricants and dust) to be removed.
Hielscher’s ultrasonic process lab in Teltow, Germany, is equipped with a range of high-power ultrasound devices, enabling the sonication of small and large samples.
Ultra-fine nano-sized particles and spherical-shaped particles, thin-film coatings, fibres, porous and dense materials and extremely porous aerogels and xerogels are highly potential additives for the development and production of high-performance materials. Advanced materials can be synthesised from colloidal suspensions or polymers in a liquid via the sol-gel method. The material shows unique characteristics, since the generated sol particles range in the nanometre size. Thereby, ...
In this technical article, Hielscher Ultrasonics explains how biodegradable microspheres and nanospheres can be produced in a continuous, contact- and contamination-free process that can be readily run under sterile conditions.
