F3SJ-E safety light curtains
Omron Scientific Technologies (STI) has introduced the F3SJ-E safety light curtain, which is designed to improve safety through providing a simple, affordable and reliable hand detection system for use on standalone devices and machines.
The F3SJ-E has quick-mount brackets, reduced wiring and alignment indicators to enable OEMs and end-users to mount the F3SJ-E quickly and easily.
According to Omron STI, in straightforward applications where simple on/off hand detection is needed, F3SJ-E safety light curtains enable machine builders and end users to reduce installation time and project costs.
Selecting and installing a light curtain is simple — users need only specify the required configuration type and sensor length.

- Fixed response time makes it easier to calculate the safety distance
- Lower profile than previous models
- Protective heights available up to 2.5m
- Available with 0.3m M12 connector pigtails or a pre-wired 3m cable
- Conforms to the latest Type 4, PLe and SIL3 requirements
- Also available in an advanced model, the F3SJ-A
