Omron Scientific Technologies has announced the availability of a guide to machine and process safety services.
The guide details the company's suite of machine and process safety services, including machine and process safety education, assessment and risk identification, engineering and design and integration and implementation.
Users will also find a review on the real cost of safety, as well as information on Omron STI's qualifications as a single source safety expert to help manufacturers realise all of their machine safety goals.
Reviewed education services include a health-and-safety training software program, safe-distance measurement tools, skill builder training and guest speaker programs and free on-site product and application training.
The guide compares and contrasts various assessment and risk identification solutions, including compliance identification assessments, compliance assessments with generalised recommendations, risk-reduction assessments identifying possible solutions and machine and process safeguarding assessments with risk-reduction solutions.
Manufacturers can also review a number of engineering, integration and implementation services, including turnkey safeguard integration, machine safeguarding evaluation/risk-level identification/risk reduction, safety system interface engineering and design, machine or process safety consulting, safety project engineering/design, project management and annual machine-safety checkups.
