Ro-Linx Powercircuit busbars

Rogers’ Power Distribution Systems Division has introduced Ro-Linx Powercircuit busbars, designed to meet the power distribution demands of applications such as electric vehicle (EV) drives, solar power inverters, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and industrial motor drives.

Combining features from both printed circuit board (PCB) power distribution systems and higher-power laminated busbar systems, Ro-Linx Powercircuit busbars are engineered to deliver optimal thermal management in multilayer power distribution.

Powercircuit busbars can be made in three dimensions, to reduce weight and footprint while maximising efficiency, particularly in medium- to high-volume assembly and soldering processes.

Ro-Linx Powercircuit busbars can be combined with industrial mounting of functional components such as capacitors, sensors and IGBTs, and are compatible with several different interconnect systems, including press fit, bolted-on, riveted and common soldering methods.

Key features

  • Suitable for current levels 100–500A, maximum 690V
  • Designed to be compact and lightweight
  • 3D structure enhances its versatility
  • Closed-mould design protects against high vibration and temperature cycling
  • Help to eliminate assembly steps for the end user, reducing risk of error
