Spelsberg has supplied 180 outdoor electrical enclosures in just four days to help EOS Energy build a 1.15MW solar farm in less than seven weeks — making it the fastest British installation of its size.
This summer, Hendra Holiday Park commissioned EOS Energy to install a 1.15MW solar farm on its premises in Cornwall in just seven weeks, so that it would be completed in time to benefit from the higher rate of the government Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) before it is reduced.
EOS Energy, a specialist division of Alumet, is dedicated to photovoltaic installations — providing turnkey systems for numerous sectors including domestic, commercial and agricultural.
Thanks to the company’s Britsol mounting system and the reliability of suppliers such as Spelsberg, EOS was able to complete the project on time, making the Hendra Solar Farm one of the largest PV projects to be installed by a wholly British-owned contractor to date.
