Rapid Electronics introduces weatherproof connectors and enclosures from Hylec-APL

The range includes weatherproof plugs and sockets, such as the Tee series of three-pole and five-pole cable connectors; these are fully protected to IP68, pre-wired to reduce installation time and manufactured to IMQ and NEMKO approval.

The connectors are designed to ensure durability and weather resistance and have been used within the lighting system for the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix, where high moisture resistance was essential.

Rapid can offer controls from Hylec-APL that facilitate emergency-stop processes in industrial environments, as well as stop-start switches and buttons that can be operated by foot, palm, key or lever.
