Sure Seal connectors
The Sure Seal range of IP67 sealed connectors from PEI-Genesis are designed for applications with harsh environments, such as within the transportation, industrial, water treatment and petrochemical sectors.
The connectors feature a one-part, injection-moulded PVC body with multiple moisture seals and removable crimp contacts. Additionally, a polarisation feature prevents the mismatching of connector halves.
They are resistant to water, oils, salt spray, ozone and ultraviolet light, can withstand shock, vibration and mechanical forces and meet the requirements of IP67 and DIN 400 50.
Sure Seal connectors — which are listed by UL and CSA — are offered in plug, flanged plug and receptacle styles.
PEI-Genesis also offers a range of tooling and accessories and an optional cable over-moulding service.
Key specifications
- Can accommodate up to 10 crimp contacts with current ratings up to 85A
- Operate between -40 and 105ºC
- Maximum contact resistance of 10mohms
- Minimum insulation resistance of 100mohms
- Dielectric withstand voltage of 1,200VAC
