Amphe-Ex connectors
PEI-Genesis’ Amphe-Ex connectors are designed for applications in harsh environments — such as within oil and gas exploration, petrochemical plants and fuel-storage sites — as well as data acquisition, process control, communications systems and embedded computers.
The series of miniature, multi-pin connectors accepts copper, coaxial or fibre-optic contacts and can be specified with RJ45 or USB inserts.
They are manufactured from machined aluminium components plated with a hard anodic coating that provides heat, corrosion and scratching resistance.
Connectors are offered in styles such as in-line receptacles, panel-mount receptacles and straight plugs with a choice of seven shell sizes from 9–21.
Additionally, they can be ordered with crimp contacts in five sizes from 22D to 10 with a range of insert patterns.
