MMPX snap-on connector system
Huber and Suhner has introduced the compact MMPX snap-on connector system, which provides true 67GHz/80Gbps coaxial to PCB transition.
The MMPX series of cable connectors and assemblies and PCB connectors and adaptors is designed for those currently developing and testing RF-based systems in mobile communications, aerospace, defence and industrial applications.
Huber and Suhner claims that certain features of the MMPX series, such as its broadband characteristics from DC to 67GHz, data rates up to 80Gbps and good return loss figures, will help to ’future proof’ current designs.
Designed to save on PCB space, the MMPX connector system occupies a minimal pitch on the board of 5.08mm and its snap-on mechanism is completely decoupled from the electrical path, making it well equipped for rapid and reliable mating.
