DT9853 modules
Data Translation has launched the DT9853 series of USB bus-powered digital-to-analogue modules, which are optimised for use in harsh environments.
The DT9853 series is fully isolated to +/-300V and provides voltage, as well as the industrial-standard 0 to 20mA current outputs, concurrently.
They operate as high-speed USB devices for maximum speed and accuracy.
The DT9853 Series is ideal for process-control, control-loop and test applications requiring stable and accurate output signals.
The plug-and-play installation of these USB modules is said to simplify configuration and reduce set-up time, while offering good isolation and accuracy.
Features: fully isolated to +/-300V for improved signal accuracy and safety; four or eight analogue outputs with 16-bit resolution for accurate measurements; 16 dedicated digital I/O lines for dedicated external event synchronisation; interrupt on change support ideal for monitoring and controlling critical signals; output ranges of 0-10V, +/-10V and 0-20 mA offer maximum flexibility; scalable design for easy connection of high-channel-count applications; 32-bit counter/timer for counting external events; compact rugged enclosure for easy setup and configuration; calibration utility provides easy-to-use analogue output circuitry tuning.
All DT9853 series modules are provided with the Omni CD, which offers a variety of software tools and libraries.
Other ready-to-measure software programs for test and measurement, including the graphical application program Measure Foundry, are available.
