Marine hardware for extreme operating conditions

Southco

TM Swim Door Latch

Southco Marine has developed a range of marine hardware for even the most extreme operating conditions.

The TM Swim Door Latch has been designed for applications that do not require a keylocking swing door latch.

Its marine-grade, corrosion-resistant construction offers longevity with durability for transom and swim platform doors - encompassing a variety of thicknesses - windshields and other above- or below-deck marine applications.

With a CF-8M - the nominal cast equivalent of 316SS - a 304SS swing, screw and nut, and PA6 and EPDM components, the TM Swim latch provides long-lasting performance to withstand even the harshest marine environments.

A low-profile handle provides an easy grip - even with set hands - and minimises protrusion to prevent snagging of people, clothing and gear.

The handle releases with the push of a button and swings 90deg in either direction to offer mounting and operating convenience in any swing-door application.

An installed O-ring provides positive engagement and a solid feel throughout the full range of motion.

Adjustable engagement compensates for differences in mounting planes between the door and the frame of the installation, while the hidden mounting hardware further enhances the installed look of the latch.
