OK International has expanded its MFR range of solder and rework tools with a shop air desoldering system targeted at production assembly specialists.
The MFR-1150 desoldering system, along with the company’s MFR-UK5 upgrade kit, enables assemblers to transform existing MFR systems into shop air desoldering systems.
Designed to provide a vacuum suction force of 0.85 bar, the advanced desoldering system incorporates a hand piece that can be used in two configurations: either a pencil style or a pistol grip.
The hand piece is also said to increase solder collection capability by 40 per cent compared with previous MFR systems thanks to an expanded collection chamber capacity.
