Micromech offers servo drive series for use in machines for packaging and printing
Micromech
Sigma-5 servo drive series
Micromech is offering the Sigma-5 series of servo drives from Yaskawa, which are suitable for use in machines within the electronics, semiconductors, packaging, printing and machine tool sectors, as well as applications within injection moulding and metal forming industries.
Sigma-5 is a servo pack that incorporates servo motors, servo amplifiers and a set-up tool, and offers rotary, direct drive and linear motors. Standard products offer a positioning accuracy of up to 10nm.
Additionally, the range of rotary servo motors is available in several categories between 0.1 and 15kW.
The ’Sigmawin’ set-up software offers an auto-tuning function, a wide range of inertia ratios and an automatic filter function that suppresses vibrations.
The series replaces the Sigma-2 range and customers using these products in their machines can easily change over to the Sigma-5.
