Micromech launches toothed belt linear drive designed to provide high acceleration
Micromech
Origa ODS-B toothed-belt linear drive
Micromech has released the Origa ODS-B toothed-belt electric linear drive, completing the Origa Drive System for applications requiring highly dynamic movements and long traverse paths.
According to the company, the toothed-belt electric linear actuator shows particular strengths when impressive acceleration is required.
Its motor can be mounted in virtually any orientation, giving the user extra flexibility in designing the complete drive package.
ODS linear drives are designed for screw (ball screw drive or trapezoidal screw drive), belt and linear motor drive applications, in which they support applications requiring safe movement with large loads and forces, in addition to speed and precision positioning.
