EBRM-16V igubal rod-end bearing
Igus has extended the range of its dimensional series E igubal rod-end bearings with the introduction of the EBRM-16V.
By inserting a steel reinforcement into its igubal rod-end bearing, Igus has increased the tensile load capability by up to 50 per cent when compared to its pure plastic versions.
Matthew Aldridge of Igus UK said: 'Able to handle tensile loads up to 15kN, designers can replace steel rod-end bearings with corrosion-resistant and maintenance-free igubal alternatives.' Typical examples of where igubal high-tensile rod ends can be used include link arms and barriers used outside, particularly in solar-power systems and facades, as well as pneumatic cylinders and drive mechanisms.
