Laird Technologies has announced the release of the SJS515090-16 dual slant 90deg sector antenna, specifically designed for WiMAX/broadband wireless applications
The antenna operates in 5.15 to 5.85GHz with 15.75dBi to 16.25dBi gain, and has a peak gain of 16.75dBi with +45deg and -45deg polarisation.
Extremely low-side lobes and null fill below the horizon results in uniform energy distribution within the coverage area.
'The SJS515090-16 gives uniform cell coverage, resulting in high levels of system performance and ruggedness while maintaining a slim profile with low wind and ice-loading,' said Quaid Rasheed, Laird Technologies BWA antenna product manager.
Two Type N-f connectors at the bottom are provided for easy installation.
The SJS515090-16 antenna is suitable for high multi-path environment, large carrier-class deployment, and WiMAX service provider applications.
