Insulation system for clean room environments

Zotefoams T-Tubes are as robust and chemically sound as the Kynar base resin, and are claimed to be the only insulation and pipe protection system in the world that is compliant with Factory Mutual (FM) Approval standard 4910 for cleanroom materials.

Kynar PVDF is well known for its excellent tolerance over a wide spectrum of chemicals including most acids, acids mixtures, weak bases, halogens, halogenated solvents, hydrocarbons, salts and oxidants.

Manufactured from Zotek F, a cross-linked, closed cell foam based on Kynar PVDF, T-Tubes are simple to install and possess excellent moisture, chemical and UV resistance along with low smoke, flame and toxicity properties.

T-Tubes are reported to be generally resistant to chemicals with a pH up to 12: their durable, impact resistant skin, coupled with the closed cell structure of the material prevents any fluid ingress or penetration during washdown or cleaning, without need for jacketing.

This simplifies and reduces installation costs and complexity.

When tested against widely used clean room sanitisation chemicals such as hydrogen peroxide, they exhibit neither visual damage, nor chemical absorption.
