Intertronics offers stainless-steel spray valve for low-viscosity materials at close tolerances

Fisnar SV1000SS
Intertronics has introduced the Fisnar SV1000SS, a spray valve designed to spray-coat low-viscosity materials at close tolerances, such as inks in low-value production and prototyping applications.
The stainless-steel SV1000SS features capability for cone (circular) or fan-pattern spray of materials such as lubricants, paint, polyurethane, inks, flux and conformal coatings that have up to 1,000cps with a shot rate frequency of 100cpm.
It can be controlled by a SCC100 valve controller — this regulates the operating air pressure by opening a needle valve that allows material to flow, while a separate air line creates pressure in the air cap, which atomises the fluid.
The spray valve is adjustable by turning the stroke-adjust control at the rear of the valve, which fine tunes the spray pattern with opening and closing effected by applying pressure to the ports subject to the valve controller, using fluid pressure from 70psi up to 100psi with a spray-flow rate up to 28cc per second.
Key specifications
- For fluids up to 1,000cps with a shot rate frequency of 100cpm
- Provides a close tolerance 12° spray angle without clogging
- Can be mounted on Intertronics’ fixed stands or robotic systems, such as the 4000 and 7400
- Can be controlled by an SCC100 valve controller
- Spray pattern can be fine tuned using the stroke-adjust control on the valve
