Brady has introduced Compact Safety padlocks, a range of lockout devices that are non-conductive and spark resistant for use in electrical environments.
Featuring a lightweight construction, reduced shackle diameter and four different shackle heights, this compact padlock’s design enables it to be easily added to existing safety padlock sets in various applications.
According to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), around 1,000 accidents at work are reported annually in the UK, caused by electric shock or burns while working with an electrical power supply — so these padlocks are designed to reduce the risk of such accidents happening.
The Compact Safety padlock, which measures 17 x 35 x 33mm with a shackle diameter of 4.74mm, is available in 10 different colours, enabling them to be instantly recognised and added to keyed alike or keyed different sets.
