Technical article: true cost of en-masse chain conveyors — how Bolt ‘N’ Go keeps costs down download
Chain conveyors are an essential part of many bulk-handling systems, where they are used to convey bulk materials such as powders, grains, flakes and pellets. Many of these conveyors use drop-forged chains with flights as a means of conveying the material being handled. These ‘en-masse’ conveying systems are very popular as they provide a simple but highly efficient method of moving material. This article from 4B Braime Elevator Components explains how en-masse conveying systems work ...
4B Braime Elevator Components has designed a range of large-sized ultra-heavy-duty elevator buckets intended for severe agro-industrial applications such as port and river terminals, ethanol and fertiliser plants and frac sand and aggregate operations.
According to 4B Braime Elevator Components, an elevator bucket is no longer just an elevator bucket. Recent advances in design technology have brought the advent of the modern high-efficiency centrifugal discharge elevator bucket. High-efficiency elevator buckets push the traditional limits of carrying capacity, input flow and discharge, construction materials and diminished shipping space.
4B has invested in tooling to increase the capacity of its Starco steel elevator buckets. The elevator buckets are designed to provide perfect fill and discharge for a range of products and operate at a wide speed range of up to 4.55m/sec.
The WDB8 series bearing temperature sensors from 4B Braime Elevator Components are designed to screw directly into bearing housings. Each sensor is fitted with a grease zerk to enable lubrication of the bearing without the need for removal of the sensor.
