At Mach 2014, Roemheld will exhibit its workholding and materials-handling technologies, including the latest additions to the M-Tecs magnetic clamping system, which is designed for a range of workholding applications.
At Mach 2014, Roemheld will launch its Speedy Etec range of all-electric zero point mounting systems for machines and machining centres without hydraulics and other applications.
M-Tecs magnetic clamping plates from Roemheld are suitable for applications where frequent die changes are required, downtimes need to be reduced or where it would be impossible or too expensive to standardise clamping edge heights and die sizes. The technology is also suitable for large die sizes and heavy weights, which require significant levels of power and time to be clamped; for example, on large presses and punches in sheet metal forming.
Roemheld will be showcasing its new products, applications and workholding systems — many of which will be seen in the UK for the first time — at stand 5250 at the Mach exhibition, held at the NEC in Birmingham on 7–11 April 2014.
Roemheld has introduced the hydro-mechanical clamping nut to its quick die range. Designed for clamping and locking dies on press beds and rams, the tool clamping element delivers a high clamping force in a limited space and is suitable for use whenever clamping up to 150kN is required without the use of hydraulics.
